Samantha grew up in the picturesque countryside of Dorset, England. Coming from a farming background, she was always surrounded by animals and a wide range of rescued wildlife. From newborn lambs warming by the fire to geese wandering freely through the kitchen and ponies greeting the postman on the front lawn, Samantha developed a deep love for animals, particularly when it came to rescuing them.

Samantha, who now lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts, with her husband and daughter, discovered a sad little pony in 2022. Samantha rescued her from a challenging situation and brought her to the picturesque coastal town of Marblehead. Since then, Pippin has become a local celebrity, adored by everyone who meets her.

Pippin's adventures around town with her new family have inspired Samantha to write her first children's book, along with her dear friend Becky, who hand-draws all the illustrations.
